D.C Weekend Trip Recap

I recently took a trip to D.C, in accordance with my recent interest in travel and exploration and let me tell you, I can't wait to go back again. This trip gave me everything that I didn't think I needed or wanted.

What's In My Bag: Weekend Trip Edition.

Hey friends!

This weekend, I'm heading to Washington D.C for a little m&r (museums and relaxation).

 

Packing for a short weekend has been a daunting task, mainly because, I'm a bit of an over-packer. I have a compulsive tendency to pack for every and any possible situation but that just usually leaves me with heavy bags full of unused items by the end of the trip.

Self-Care Sunday: Choosing Myself.

I've gone through a number of life changes lately this month ( in my work, relationship & self) and I've found myself in a very vulnerable position.

For a while, I hid those feelings. I didn't want to admit that I felt sad, that I felt unsure of who I was and my place in the world. Admitting that would make me weak and therefore, I held it close. However, what I realized this past month is there is a mountain of strength in my vulnerability.

This past month, I questioned who I was and after lengthy self-deliberation, daily TED videos & inspirational music (linked below),  I found her.
