Outfit of The Day: An All Black Affair

This look is one of my favorites! I love the combination of the scarf, the black clothing and the lush, rich color of my lipstick. When putting together this outfit, I  wanted an outfit that was classy but without forcibly covering up. 

With being a working lady & all, I'm trying to dress classier, while keeping it fun and sexy. By sexy, I don't mean receiving eye-bulging stares. When I say "sexy", I mean confidence-boosting, well-fitted and flattering clothing that adds a sense of charm and allure to who I am. I work in a professional setting with very different people, and I've learned how important it is to carry one's self with dignity because how I look sends a message to people before I even open my mouth and introduce myself. The idea that people feel they have the right to  judge anyone before they have the chance to even introduce themselves is appalling but that's the reality of life.

It hasn't been the easiest thing to figure out, but I'm getting there. For what it's worth, complete strangers think I have "wicked style" and my superiors compliment, so I must be doing something right, huh?
