Clueless is an American classic, mostly for the outfits worn by the characters. When I think of clueless, I'm thinking lots of plaid mini-skirts, co-ordinates sweaters, ultra-preppy rich girl chic looks.

The outfits worn by Alicia Silvertone and Stacey Dash are fashion forward mostly due the boldness of the look and the flair with which the characters wore them.

Are they things I would wear on a daily basis? No, but I find them inspiring for a more modern and professional look. It would be very weird and inappropriate for me to go to work in a plaid mini-skirt and blazer set. It would an absolute look, but I've grown out of my outrageous outfit days. 

However, pairing a longer skirt with a neutral blouse and a bold lip gave me just enough of a "dionne" flair while keeping my look sophisticated, classy and work-appropriate.
