Avocado Toast x Smoked Salmon
Avocado toast, last summers' fad, has now become a hipster staple and is as customize-able as a PB & J sandwich.
(Sidenote: Isn't it interesting how smearing avocado on bread with salt became a national f**king craze. I've been eating this stuff since I lived in Nigeria and yeah...it's so interesting how hipsters pretend to """discover""" things people have been doing for years)
Today, I'll be walking through my rendition on avocado toast.
With a few simple ingredients, you can make a decadent avocado toast right at home. My rendition on the avocado toast features ripe Haas avocados, a hard-boiled egg, smoked salmon all delicately arranged on a cinnamon raisin English muffin with a shake of salt & lots of black pepper.
If you're cautious about eating smoked salmon because it is technically raw, I'm here to tell you that you are missing out on one of the best things about salmon.
Please stop being a stop & try the smoked salmon especially on avocado toast.
It's simply delish!
Directions
Boil the two eggs while the English muffin is toasting
Mash the avocado and sprinkle a wee bit of salt & pepper on it
Cut the eggs and add to the english muffin.
Finally, flake the pieces of smoked salmon over the sandwich.
Admire your masterpiece & take a pic for the 'gram before consuming
Ingredients
1 English muffin
1/2 of a small or medium avocado
2 eggs
2oz of smoked salmon
salt & pepper to taste
